ABOUT OUR LIBRARY:

Renovated in 2002, the current I.C.S. Library is the result of a collaborative effort by a dedicated group of people and the entire community at large. Under the direction of Sister Joan Daniel, then principal of I.C.S., and Sarah Iverson-Ito, development director, the school held fund-raisers to supplement a grant they received. The library is now a source of pride for the entire school. It houses 9,500 books, a varied reference section and computers for on-line research. Each class is encouraged to spend time in the library weekly.

LIBRARY MISSION

The mission of the Immaculate Conception Library is to collaborate with classroom and special subject teachers in the delivery of instructional programs and resources that support the curriculum and student learning. The library also provides and promotes resources that inspire the love of literature and encourages students to become lifelong readers, viewers, and listeners.

At Immaculate we strive to set the stage for a life centered in Jesus Christ by providing a faith atmosphere and a formation program which is meant to assist and complement the parents in their role as primary educators of their children.  Every effort is made to meet the needs and capabilities of each student academically, spiritually, physically, and psychologically.
